sixtysecondstatements

The second edition of the Sixtysecondstatements festival will take place October 28th 2009. The festival calls professional film makers, 3D animators, video artists, flash designers and multimedia students - from the northern parts of the Netherlands - to submit their '60 second statements' to a professional jury.

The only requirements are:

• High Definition film (minimal 1.280 x 720 pixels)
• 60 seconds: no more, no less

Participators will receive two tickets for the exclusive premiere on Wednesday night October 28th. One of them will be the winner of the 60 second statements award. If selected by the jury, they will see their clip on the big white screen of filmtheatre Images in Groningen: probably a unique experience as well.

Technical requirements are:

• HD-format = minimal 1280 X 720 pixels
• Time: precisely 60 seconds (including titles, music, everything!)
• File extension: Avi, Quicktime (uncompressed)
• Sound: no specific requirements
• Number of clips: max. 2 clips per participator
